Why referrals? “When I started this company, I had no marketing budget, so my emphasis was doing the best that I could for every client, so at that point I could ask, based on the work we'd done for them, for a referral. And seven years later, we are still practicing those things.”
How I encourage them: “My biggest thing is I've asked. There was a point in time where I had no choice. When you don't have anything, you have to use every resource you got. I wasn't afraid to ask because it was a matter of survival. To gain more referrals, get to to know your clients and build that relationship where it is not uncomfortable to ask them.”
